Quickpage template Freebie

Well, I haven't blogged in years (mainly because I've been busy studying for my degree), but today I made a quick page template for you.

It comes in PSD format and is free. Designing's not quite my forte, but I do enjoy making layouts.

Simply replace these elements with parts from your bought kits to make a lovely layout, and please feel free to send me your links. I'd love to see what you've created with this.

More template layouts

I made another layout today using a template from Creatively Obsessed Design's, this time I used 'Big Pics - Vol 1'.

I love using big photos in my layouts, although that's because I forget the actual size is 12x12 inches, anyway, for this layout I wanted the effect of my son expanding out of the 'frame'. I just love doing extractions, and when we're out and about these days I always keep this in mind and try to take 'action' photos.

The kit I used for this layout is 'Billy Joe Scarecrow' by Acorn Designs, it has some great elements in there but I went for the minimalistic look on this one, but take a look at the preview, it's so cute (and you can click the image to visit the desginer's store);

Here's my layout anyway

Creatively Obsessed Designs

I've been accepted on another Creative Team and it's very exciting: Creatively Obsessed Designs makes the most gorgeous templates.

I joined in time to participate in Berry Sweet Scrap's October Template challenge and  used the free template to create this:

The kit I used was 'Indian Summer' (Aquarius) as I think the colours are just gorgeous, and I love the look of all those dried autum-y flowers and leaves.

This template has three sections for photo's and I used them all to scrap my youngest son out playing, and although I've followed the template quite strictly for this one (with the exception of a few extra elements), you don't have to.

Templates are used as a start to creating those digital scrap-booking masterpieces, and for my next one I think I'll be a little more creative, but I wanted to share this one with you, and I wanted to thank Creatively Obsessed Designs for allowing me on her creative team.

If you would like to join the challenge this month, the template is free, and you can find it here: Berry Sweet Scraps.
