Some more freebies for you

I haven't been on here much the last few days owing to the fact that when trying to upgrade my computer I destroyed one hard drive and wiped the other clean, (don't ask me how as I should know better - I'm forever fiddling about with computer parts).

Anyway, I had only my photogrpahs backed up and lost everything else, so I have been busy re-installing everything and now have everything back to where it was - minus a few gigs of freebie kits.

I haven't any freebies to offer you right now, but my fellow Creative team members have been hard at it again (just click the image to be taken to the relevent blog);

Now, although I don't have any freebies for you I am working hard to make a couple of QP's and have even been playing around with paper and element design - but I'm not brave enough yet to share them with the World Wide Web, so to speak.

I have to say that just a month ago looking at the Photoshop programme scared the life out of me; all those menus and choices were completely overwelming, but I'm slowly growing to like it, learning new things everyday. So fingers crossed.....

Letter to Santa

Just a quick post to show you another layout I made, I did this one from Phillsboo's Joyful Christmas which you can find here.

We are in the process of writing up our letters to Santa, (and they have a VERY long list of toys on them), and I thought it would be nice to have something that could be kept in a scrapbook to look back at when the boys are older so I made this layout for that very reason.

Freebie from Tirza's Treasures

Got some more really great news to share with you; Tirza of Ahhhscrap has invited me to be part of her creative team. This really is exciting for me as I have already learnt so much being a part of Phillsboo's team so there is going to be no stopping me now!

I am still trying to get my head around Photoshop and although I now know how to make a layout with layers and shadows there is still so much for me to learn so being a part of two creative teams is going to be a really challenging experience for me. (And I just love a good challenge).

Now Tirza has got some really beautiful kits on sale at the moment, here are a few previews for you (click on the image to visit the store);

And here, as promised is the freebie (just click the image to be taken to Tirza's blog);

Digi-free found me!

This is ever so exciting; I had four emails in my inbox this morning telling me that the freebies on offer here are being listed in the digi-free search engine.

I didn't even know they exsisted but they're massive and it's great for digi-scrappers to have a central place to look for all those glorious freebies.

Harvest of Thanks (Tirza's Treasures)

I've been playing around with a kit from Tirza of Ahhhscrap,
it's called Harvest of Thanks and has the most gorgeous papers and elements.

I just couldn't resisit making this layout of Michael trying to climb a gate because it was so funny, I have tons of pictures of him trying but not once did he manage to get over the fence on his own - very frustrating indeed when you're dressed up as Ironman and meant to be almost super human!

The second layout I've made was for the Ahhhscrap Personal
challange
where we had to create a layout showing what we are most thankful for and for an extra challange we had to share the layout with the object of our appreciation, well, I tell my boys every day how special they both are as they really do mean the world to me.

The photo is from last night (Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night), just as we were on out way out to see the bonfire and fireworks that take place in the park behind us. Then of course we had a few of our own.

This kit really has been a pleasure to work with (and
can be found at Ahhhscraps Store (Just click the preview
to visit);

Joyful Christmas (and another QP freebie)

Well, Silvia (Phillsboo at Digital Arts Cafe), has done it again.

She's made the most gorgeous kit for all your Christmas layouts, it's jam packed with 23 papers and 65 elements and has everything you need to make beautiful layouts.

I loved working with this kit; loved the papers and all the elements and found it really easy to create with. (In fact I think I may have got a little carried away - but I discovered the extract filter on photoshop and, well, you can see what I came up with).

Here's a little preview for you;

Isn't it lovely?

It's in the store over at Digital Arts Cafe and is currently priced at just $4.19 AND, if you buy this item you can get the Joyful Christmas Quick Pages for free;

And now to the freebie Quick page on offer (just click the image to be taken to the download page);
