Cherished Moments Kit by Phillsboo (and a freebie)

With Christmas just around the corner I haven't had much of a chance to post on here, I've been working away on my friends dvd video and am pleased to report I have near enough finished it. All I need to do now is ad the music, burn it to dvd and then make up a nice cover for the disc.

Phillsboo has bought out another kit, "Cherished Moments", which is currently selling for just $4.19 over at the Digital Arts Cafe.

I have made a couple of layouts and one quick page, which I hope you will like. I'm trying not to put just one photograph in a layout at the moment as I seem to keep making the same style of layout soI have been experimenting a little in photoshop, (I managed to get five frames in one!)

Here is a preview of Phillsboo's "Cherished Moments Kit";

Busy Busy

So much to do, so little time, but I haven't posted for a while, so here I am.

Well, in all the excitement of Joing two Creative teams, learning to use photoshop and even learning to do a little designing, I completely forgot the reason I started Digital Scrapbooking.

Back in September when I discovered this little corner of the World Wide web I decided to make my friend a Scrapbook DVD for her christmas as she had a long awaited baby in May and I like the more personal touch.

But I've got so sidetracked I completely forgot so now I'm on a Scrapbook layout marathon here. I need to make at least 60 layouts for about 5 minutes of DVD - so panic, panic (but I'm loving it too!).

I have to hold up my hands here and tell you that due to the lack of time on my hands I've decided to cheat and the bulk of this project is Quick Pages at the moment.

Funky Grunge Layouts and a freebie!

It's been fun over the last week making Brag Books for the Digital Arts Cafe Blog train, though I can't believe just how quickly that week went..still, back to normality now.

I have made a couple of layouts from Tirza's Funky Grunge kit that is currently on sale at Ahhhscrap. It was a great kit to work with and as you can see it isn't limited to "boy" snaps.

It was a real pleasure to work with this kit, no matter what paper I chose the colours just seemed to blend really well together, and there is such a great choice of elements to choose from;

And finally, click here to begin your Quick page download (The first one - green).

Incidently, I am trying to make a Gingerbread house from scratch this year, so fingers crossed. I've made and cooked the biscuit, and will be attempting to put it together nearer christmas.

Brag Book Collection Cover

I'm not sure if it's the norm to have a cover for brag books but as I am planning on printing all these out in a little album for my Mum, (from my darling cherubs), I thought, why not?

I have used a little from each of the kits used in making the brag pages;

Merry Christmas Darling by Tirza
Cosy Christmas by Laura
Happy Holidays by Nydia
The Mathematician's Assistants Blog Party Kit
St. Nikolaus by Kayjay

Just click here to download the cover.

Thank you very much to everyone who has downloaded these pages and the lovely comments you've left, it's my first blog party and has been very exciting for me - it's nice to know that people like what I have made.

Thank you.

Now, although the blog party itself ends on the 7th I will leave all these links open until about the 10th to give everyone time to download them.

Now, it's time to go on a downloading frenzy.........

Brag Book Pages (Using Happy Holidays)

A Couple more freebie bragbook pages for you today, this time I used my fellow CT member's kit, Happy Holidays, you really need to grab this one, it is such a lovely kit with so much choice.

I tried to make these layouts a little more feminine, as I automatically scrap with my boys in mind and forget that the other half of the population is female (lol!)

Please do take the time to visit Nydia's blog and leave her some love for such a great kit,

Blog Party Freebies

Well, the Digital Arts Cafe blog train has begun and there are so many lovely freebies to choose from.

I was actually trying my hand at designing but having run completely out of time I have decided instead to do a set of brag pages (6x4 inches) as I thought these would make a lovely personal gift when presented in a decorated photo album (which is what I am planning on doing).

Here are the first couple of pages;

I made both of these using the freebie kit from Tirzas Treasures, I thought the papers and elements were just gorgeous.

I will be making more over the next few days so be sure to come back.
