More layouts and a QP (Kayjay's Lucky Day kit)

I'm feeling a lot better and have been busy making a few layouts today, and I have a quick page to offer you to.

The first layout is one of my older son, I just love doing close up layouts but they aren't very practical for making a quick page which is the reason I ended up making another one.

The next layout is the one I made into a quick page for you, I have to confess to you that I cheated for this one and used a template, but I really liked it and couldn't help myself.

I used a template designed by Veronica Spriggs to make this layout of my two little darlings, and a lovely poem that I found over at Scrapbooking.com. I had to change the poem slightly though as it is the youngest one who is protective of his older brother and not the other way around, but I think it still reads well.

The next layout has nothing at all to do with Kayjay's Luckyday kit.....should really be in a separate post but never mind, I'm here now.

I have made this one for Mother's day, which is on Sunday 22nd here in the UK, as soon as I've finished typing up this blog I will be sending this picture over to Kodak and getting this made into a stretched canvas picture - hopefully my Mum will receive it in time for Mothering Sunday.

I used Veronica Spriggs template again to make this one, though I had to stretch and change things a little as the size of the canvas is 16x12 inch.

I also found a lovely poem to use, and I know she'll love it.

And finally.....the quick page.

If you have read through this entire blog post, thank you and enjoy your download.

  1. Hi Michelle, so glad you are feeling better, I can only begin to imagine how much strain you are sometimes under, good to see you back on track! Love the pages you have made, and wow, to think that something I designed is being given as a Mother's Day gift, you not only made your Mum's Day but mine too! Thanks!

  3. Those QP's are beautiful! Are you part of any Creative Teams? I'd love to have you use my kits to make layouts with! Let me know. And I'm not sure if I’ve told you this before, but you should post your blog link to your QP on my “Lovely Layouts Tuesday” post http://robynschicscraps.blogspot.com/

    Thanks for sharing!
